Referendum on Denmark’s participation in the European cooperation on security and defence by abolishing the EU defence opt-out, 1 June 2022 (Folkeafstemning om Danmarks deltagelse i det europæiske samarbejde om sikkerhed og forsvar ved at afskaffe EU-forsvarsforbeholdet, den 1. juni 2022)

A referendum on Denmark’s participation in the European cooperation on security and defence will be held in Denmark on 1 June 2022.

It is possible to vote at the Embassy in Tel Aviv and at the Danish Honorary Consulates in Haifa, Jerusalem and Eilat. Remember to bring Danish ID (Danish passport or Danish driving licence).

It will be possible to vote from Wednesday 13 April 2022.

At the Embassy in Tel Aviv it is possible to vote without appointment during the following hours:

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00-14:00

- Friday 12:00-13:30

At the Honorary Consulates, you need to book an appointment. Please call:

- Honorary Consulate in Eilat: 050-4068392

To ensure that your vote will reach Denmark in time, voting should take place no later than Monday 09 May 2022.
