Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) in Israel is located in Tel Aviv at the Embassy of Denmark in Israel.

Tel Aviv is one of the world’s leading hubs for research, innovation and start-ups, offering a unique ecosystem of entrepreneurs, venture capital, world-class universities and industries. With an open, creative and risk-taking culture Israel has more high-tech start-ups and a larger venture capital industry per capita than any other country in the world.

Innovation Centre Denmark in Tel Aviv builds bridges between research and business. We help develop business models and establish partnerships in Israel, giving access to world leading knowledge on how to transfer scientific research into commercial and scalable solutions.

4.1 per cent of Israel's GDP is invested in R&D and Israel ranks 2nd among world leading innovation hubs ahead of countries, e.g. Germany, US and Denmark. The business and research sectors excel within cleantech and life science.

The universities and state owned labs are experts in transferring scientific research into commercial and scalable solutions, bringing novel technology to the market. Weizmann Institute of Science and Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology are among Israel's world-renowned research institutes with a strong record in tech-transfer programmes and international partnerships.
