Introduction:

Health data has become increasingly crucial in driving innovation in healthcare, from improving patient outcomes to developing new treatments and technologies. Israel is a leader in this area, with its vast and digitalized health data sets, coupled with a thriving life science research and innovation ecosystem. In this webinar, we'll explore how Israel is leveraging health data for innovation and how Danish stakeholders can get involved.

Accessing and Applying Health Data:

One of the primary platforms for accessing health data in Israel is the Kineret Platform, developed by the Israeli Ministry of Health. The Kineret Platform provides researchers and innovators with access to a broad range of health data sets, including data on demographics, medical diagnoses, medications, and laboratory results, among others. This platform enables researchers to develop more effective and personalized treatments, identify trends in patient outcomes, and improve the overall quality of healthcare.

Innovation Ecosystem:

Israel has a thriving innovation ecosystem, with many startups, academic institutions, and research centers focused on life sciences and healthcare. The Israeli government has also created several initiatives to support innovation, such as the Israel Innovation Authority, which provides funding and support to early-stage startups, and the National Digital Health Plan, which aims to digitize and the healthcare system.
